The Body Of Yasmin El Rufai To Arrive In Nigeria Tomorrow

The body of Yasmin El Rufai, the eldest daughter of the former Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nasir El Rufai is to be flown back to Nigeria on Thursday for immediate burial. Family sources have hinted that the late Yasmine’s body is expected to be flown to Nigeria on Thursday or Friday this week. Yasmin could have been buried according to Muslim rites but investigation to her death by British medical authorities had delayed the burial rites. Another delay had been cause by the deceased family decision to fly her body back home for burial. Sources close to the family claimed that Yasmin’s body will be released by British Medical Authorities after full investigation into the cause of her death had been conducted. According to reports, she had died of what medical sources linked to Neurological disorder at her home in London while she was home alone. The circumstances of her loneliness had engendered her early death as there was no assistance for her after she slumped while reaching for her medication, during a rare attack, having had an history of neurological disorder ailment. Former chairman of the EFCC and presidential candidate of the ACN in the last general election, Nuhu Ribadu, the running mate to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the CPC in the last election, Pastor Tunde Bakare and former information minister Dora Akunyili are the latest to visit the former Minister to convey their condolence messages. Others are a former aviation minister, Femi Fani Kayode; the former-director general of the Nigerian Television Authority, Ben Bruce; and a host of officials from the Federal Capital Development Authority. Yasmin and dad The chief imam of Abuja Central Mosque, Ustaz Musa Mohammed, was also in the home of the former minister during the week leading mourners in prayers for the late Yasmine. Her elder brother Sani has described the late Yasmine as an angel in human form whose death is a colossal loss to the family. “All I can say is Inalillahi wa ina illahi rajiun. From Allah we come and to Him we shall return. It is a coloss loss. It is unexplainable. The most we can do is pray for her. Prayers are not enough to bring her back but it is all we can do. There is no could have, would have or should have.”
