Nigeria Vs Zambia: Super Eagles Friendly On Tuesday November 15 @ 4.30pm
The Super Eagles of Nigeria under new manager,
Stephen Keshi will play host to the Chipolopolo of
Zambia in an International friendly on Tuesday,
15th November at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium,
Kaduna
The Nigerians only last Saturday were held to a
goalless draw by AFCON debutants, Rwanda in
an international friendly at the Samuel Ogbemudia
Stadium, Benin City in Keshi's first assignment
and will be hoping to get a win on Tuesday.
The Chipolopolo are using it as a warm-up and
launchpad for their 2012 Africa Cup of Nations
Finals preparation in which they have being
drawn against Libya, Senegal and co-hosts
Equatorial Guinea while Nigeria seeks to rebuild
after missing out of the continental championship
as it will be without a competitive game until
mid-2012 when it will play against Rwanda and
Malawi in the AFCON 2013 and World Cup 2014
qualifiers.
It was the Eagles that denied the Chipolopolo their
first ever AFCON win in 1994 when Emmanuel
Amuneke scored a brace to cancel Elijah Litana’s
opening goal in that memorable final in Rades,
Tunisia. The Nigerians also saw off the Zambians
at the quarter-final stage of the 2010 AFCON in
Angola courtesy of penalties when regulation
time ended goalless.
So whats your prediction for today's game?
